1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using SkinfieAI (the "App"), published by Neurivue ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. What SkinfieAI is (and is not)
- SkinfieAI provides AI-based skin & hair analysis, personalised skincare routines, reminders, wellbeing games, and an emergency-information screen (medSOS) — for informational and cosmetic-wellbeing purposes only.
- SkinfieAI is not a medical device, does not diagnose or treat any condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical or dermatological advice. Always consult a qualified professional for skin-health concerns.
- The medSOS screen is a convenience tool. It is not a guaranteed emergency service — numbers, listings, and GPS results depend on your device, network, and third-party services. In a real emergency, contact your local emergency services directly.
3. Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) AI
- AI analysis runs through third-party AI providers (e.g. Groq, Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, OpenRouter and others) using an API key you create and supply. Your use of those providers is governed by their terms and pricing, not ours.
- You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure and for any usage or charges on your provider accounts.
- AI models change over time. Providers may rename, deprecate, or retire models; the App includes automatic model fallback, but we cannot guarantee any specific model, provider, quality, or availability.
- AI output can be wrong. Results vary with lighting, photo quality, and model behaviour. Use judgment; double-check anything that matters.
4. Your responsibilities
- Use the App lawfully and only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Do not misuse the App: no reverse engineering for malicious purposes, no attempting to disrupt third-party services through it, no submitting unlawful content to AI providers.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your region).
- Emergency dialing opens your phone's dialer; placing a call is always your action. Do not test emergency numbers with real calls.
5. Your content & data
Your photos, routines, results, contacts, and keys stay on your device or go directly to the AI provider you chose — we do not receive them. See the Privacy Policy for full details. You retain all rights to your content; we claim none.
6. Intellectual property
The App, its design, branding (SkinfieAI, HERSENTIAL, Neurivue), and code are owned by Neurivue and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App. Third-party names (Groq, Google, OpenAI, etc.) belong to their owners.
7. Third-party services & links
The App links out to third-party services (AI providers, Google Maps, YouTube, app stores, shopping sites). We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, or policies.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI output, or uninterrupted availability. Skin-analysis results are estimates for cosmetic guidance, not medical findings.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neurivue shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App, third-party AI output, emergency-information features, or third-party services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the App (the App is free, so this may be zero) or the minimum permitted by law.
10. Changes to the App or these Terms
We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time, and may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date above will change; significant changes will be noted in the App or on our website. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Termination
You can stop using the App anytime (uninstalling removes your local data). We may suspend or terminate access for misuse or legal reasons.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts at Patna, Bihar, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.
